KORANBOGOR.com-Selfi Yamma, born in Soppeng on September 7, 1999, is known as one of Indonesia’s rising dangdut singers with a unique vocal style. She is also currently a coach on Dangdut Academy 7 on Indosiar.
On November 12, 2025, Selfi continues to show her strength in the dangdut industry by releasing her new single, “Pelukan Nyata”. This mellow and emotional song tells the story of losing someone special — a deep longing that words alone cannot express.
With simple but touching music, “Pelukan Nyata” invites listeners to feel the quiet moments of grief, the struggle to let go, and memories that remain even as time passes. “The first time I heard the song, I felt it wasn’t just a story in music — it’s a story many people can relate to,” Selfi said.
The music video also carries a simple concept. No big sets or dramatic effects — the focus is on emotions, so viewers can connect deeply with the sadness in the song.
During filming, the director asked Selfi to cry in one scene as the emotional peak. Surprisingly, the tears came naturally. “When they asked me to cry, suddenly the feelings came. It wasn’t acting — the sadness just flowed,” Selfi shared.
“Pelukan Nyata” is also Selfi’s first collaboration with songwriter Babha Thoenk, known for creating touching ballads. Babha praised Selfi’s honest delivery of emotion: “Selfi has a voice that truly brings feelings to life. This song feels real in her voice.”
The music video will premiere on the 3D Entertainment YouTube channel at 4:00 PM WIB, and the song is now available on all digital streaming platforms, including Apple Music, Spotify, YouTube Music, TikTok, and Facebook Music starting at 00:00 WIB.
